Fresh and
innovative cafe

In 2003 I had a vision to bring fresh seasonal and local food to Regent Square. The quality and tastiness of the food were as important to me as creating a friendly neighborhood cafe that would bring the community together.

Over the past sixteen years, we’ve designed seasonal menus that provide our guests with delectable dishes to please every palate. Our menu features a variety of options for vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free guests, and Square’s friendly and knowledgeable staff is here to accommodate your taste and dietary needs.

In 2020, we wanted to expand the cafe to offer more seating so we moved to the heart of Pittsburgh’s East Liberty neighborhood.

Square Cafe is dedicated to local talent as well as to the community, and we partner with many local nonprofits on fundraisers, special events, and promotions. Our cafe also serves as a gallery showcasing local artists. In addition, we provide catering services for parties big or small, so think of us for your next special event!
