Breakfast and brunch are some of our favorite meals–but they can be tricky sometimes. Trying to lose weight? Trying to be healthier? Don’t eat meat or animal products? Between meat, eggs and lots of potatoes it isn’t always the easiest option for those looking for something green and delicious. When making our menu we always have that in mind. While we do indulge in some pretty sinfully delicious creations like our Tot Mess, we pride ourselves in our Vegan, Vegetarian and Gluten-free friendly options as well!
Here are a few suggestions from our new Fall/Winter menu!
> “Tofu Skillet” (Vegan & Vegetarian): Sautéed tofu, butternut squad, Brussels sprouts, shallots, shredded carrots, lima beans and quinoa
> “The Vegster Bene” (Vegetarian): Grilled buttermilk biscuit with sautéed portobellos, braised leeks, kale, grilled tomatoes and zucchini hollandaise and chives.
> “Warm Oatmeal” (Vegan): Slowly cooked whole rolled oats topped with brown sugar.
> “BBQ Jackfruit Sandwich” (Vegan): BBQ pulled jackfruit with lettuce and pickled shallots on grilled ciabatta. Served with fresh fruit.
> “Garbanzo Burger” (Vegetarian): Cajun style chickpea burger on grilled kaiser roll toped with tahini mayo, feta cheese, lettuce and roasted red pepper. Served with french fries.
> “Brussels Sprout Hash” (Gluten-free): Shredded Brussels sprouts, braised leeks, mushrooms and bacon. Served over our cheesy grits and topped with 1 egg over easy.
